Fish and Game NZ - Game Bird Habitat Trust

Distributes funding for the development and enhancement of habitat for game birds and other wetland inhabitants. Funded by $5 from every hunting licence sale. Since 1993, the Trust has provided $2.4 million in grants to nearly 300 projects, helping create, enhance or reinstate around 2,000 hectares of wetland habitat. Applications close 30 June each year.
