Supports and encourages local communities to create and present diverse opportunities for accessing and participating in arts activities within their specific geographical area.

Encourages and assists with voluntary work that protects, enhances, explains or restores significant heritage values of the Hurunui District.

Hurunui Reserves Contestable Fund

Funds projects that enhance Council-owned reserves and benefit the community.

MainPower Hurunui Natural Environment Fund

Funds projects that increase the region's biodiversity through voluntary and cooperative community partnerships.

Mayoral Relief Fund

$25,000

Provides financial support for immediate needs of individuals, families, and community organizations affected by emergencies.

Secondary School Achievers Fund

Funds current school students from Year 11-13 for further study in the following year.

Sport NZ Rural Travel Fund

Subsidises travel costs for junior teams aged 5 to 19 years to participate in local sporting competitions.
