Use the term 'Significant Natural Areas (SNAs)' when referring to sites with significant indigenous vegetation or fauna habitat. Frame projects in terms of protecting, enhancing and restoring the health of the local environment.

Applications for large amounts over $5,000 are less likely to be successful due to limited funds.
What makes a strong application
Applications up to $5,000 are more likely to be successful, except for erosion mitigation projects which can request up to $20,000. Projects aligned with the stated funding priorities have stronger chances of approval.
