Funding to help junior sports teams (ages 5-18) in the Ōpōtiki rohe get to local sporting competitions and events. Support is for school club teams and sports club teams participating in regular local sport competition outside of school time.

Eligibility
School club teams participating in regular local sport competition out of school time (excluding inter and intra school competition), or sports club teams with organised regular sport competition through club membership outside of school time.
Funding Period
Next funding round opens 12 March 2026 and closes 2 April 2026 at 4pm.
Accountability
Sport NZ requires organisations receiving funding to return an accountability form showing proof of purchases made within the funding period and attach receipts.
